It’s no secret that staying healthy during the holidays can be tricky. The weeks between Thanksgiving and New Years are packed with feasts, holiday parties, pies, cookies, and champagne. A lot of people also see these days as their last hoorah before starting fresh with a New Years resolution.
For those of trying not to get derailed from last year’s get-healthy resolution, I have a challenge for you.
One of my favorite bloggers teamed up with one of her favorite bloggers to create a six-week challenge to help their readers stay on track during the holidays. They have cleverly dubbed it the “Elf for Health Holiday Challenge.”
This is a six-week challenge that will run from the Monday after Thanksgiving through the first week in January. There will be daily tasks, daily winners, prizes, weekly newsletters, and a Facebook group for support.
When you sign up, you’ll receive an elf (another person involved in the challenge) to help encourage you. You will be an elf for someone else in return (passing along encouraging words and supporting their holiday health goals). You are committed to helping support your buddy and are required to get in touch with them a minimum of 2 times per week. The elves will be switched around every 2 weeks.
Each day, there is a new challenge. You can print it out or add it to your Google calendar for daily reminders!
