I get so excited every time my new Fabletics gear arrives. Somehow, I always forget what outfits I picked, so it’s like unwrapping birthday presents each month! This month’s collection is as good as ever and is filled with lots of great colors, patterns and fun details for spring. I don’t want to keep you guessing, so without further ado, I bring you my selections from the latest collection.
I love a good high-rise legging, and these High-Waisted Statement Powerhold Leggings might be one of my new favorite pairs. The lace-up detail in the back is so fun and unique, and that isle/leaf color combo? Top notch, Fabletics. Top. Notch.
I have a few pairs of Fabletics’ high-waisted leggings. I find them to be both comfortable and flattering, which is made possible by the chafe-resistant, all-way stretch compression fabric. They also have UPF 50+, which is great for living under that Texas sun.
As for the top, it’s the Shellie Midi Sports Bra, a medium support bra with removable cups. The cut of this sports bra is interesting, but I think I dig it. I like the v-neck and the darts on the front, and the crisscross straps are a fun detail, although I’m not sure how I feel about how that yellow looks against my pasty skin.
All in all, I thing this makes for a great workout outfit!
No one will miss me in this outfit. The Reese Tank in leaf is BRIGHT, and I’m not mad about it. I’ve already gone for a few runs in this tank it’s amazing: ultra-lightweight and breathable with mesh cutouts for ventilation. The fabric is made with sweat-wicking technology, which repels moisture on contact. Clothes these days are so fancy.
Last but not least: the Latrice Short in gray dotted splash print. I’m pretty picky when it comes to shorts. I tend to gravitate toward tight fitting spandex shorts because the loose ones often ride up or aren’t particularly flattering. I wasn’t sure what I’d think of these shorts when I ordered them, but I have to say, I’m impressed!
They’re built with a supportive compression liner, so they don’t ride up at all. They’re actually quite comfortable, and I really like the silky double layer design.
High-waisting leggings: yay or nay?
