Guess what! It’s Friday!
Guess what else! It’s my BIRTHDAY! Wohoo! Happy birthday to me!!
I’m celebrating by working from home today, which is necessary after a particularly insane workweek. Tonight my parents are taking me and Will out to a nice dinner, and tomorrow I’m getting my hair cut and hitting up the local bar with some friends – so I think it will be a great birthday weekend! My mom is also making me a dairy-free almond butter version of this cake sooooo pretty stoked about that.
Anywho, it’s also Fit & Fashionable Friday. In store for you today is a look at the Fabletics February Collection: New Horizons. This collection is filled with fashion-forward styles with lots of feminine open backs, painter-inspired prints, draping and knotting details.
Let’s dive right into my picks!
I adore these! They look faux-leathery, which means I can wear them to the office under a cute tunic with these awesome shoes (pause to admire how truly killer these Disney Vans are – ooooooo aaaaaaaahhhhhh) and then transition right to the gym. They hit all the checkpoints in terms of active wear (chafe-resistant, hidden pocket, moisture-wicking). Plus, they’re nice and thick, so I don’t have to worry about my butt crack shining through on a bright day. Winner winner, birthday cake for dinner!
I love open backs with a cool sports bra (sports bra here is Zobha), so this tank is a keeper for sure. I can’t wait for consistent warm weather (which it looks like we’re starting to get!) so I can wear this on the weekend! I actually already wore it to CrossFit, and it provided the perfect ventilation during a killer WOD! The little knot detail in the back is really cute, and the band at the back of the neck keeps the sleeves from sliding down.
No onto some of the things I almost picked: the honorable mentions!
If you like what you see, remember you can get your first Fabletics outfit for only $25, and even if you sign up as a VIP, you can skip any month you like free of charge. It’s a pretty great deal.
Alright my fit & fashionable friends, let’s see how your stay fit & fashionable for my birthday ;-P. Add your posts below (full link up rules here) and be sure to share with #fitnfashionable!
