Happy Friday everyone!!
It’s time for Friday Five! Friday Five is hosted by three lovely ladies: You Signed Up for What?!, Mar on the Run, and Eat Pray Run DC. Be sure to check out their Friday Fives and all the other bloggers linking up. This week, we’re chatting Five Fitness Goals.
My five, in no particular order:
- Be able to do an unassisted pull-up. – I was working on this during my p90x days and have since assuredly lost some upper body strength. Time to work my way back up, literally! Hopefully this upper body routine will do the trick.
- Do more strength training. – In order to reach goal number one, I am going to have to start doing more strength training. I am already lifting weights twice a week, but I’d love to start doing it more often. It’s good for the muscles and the metabolism.
- Run a PR at one (or both) of the two half marathons I have coming up. One is next week! Keep your fingers crossed for me!
- Run as many of these races as I can while I can.
- Be able to do this:
