I’m back today for MMAZ! Today is a Cooking week. Last week, all the bloggers involved created recipes using Oats, and this week, we each picked a new recipe (either one posted as part of last week’s MMAZ linkup or another) and cooked it! I was planning on making Better With Veggies’ Vanilla Spice Streusel Pudding, but traveling for work kept me out of the kitchen.
Luckily, I made my boyfriend these Healthy Banana Bread Granola Bars from Erica’s Sweet Tooth the one day I was home last week.
These oat-filled treats make the perfect pre-workout snack for him. A lot of granola bars are loaded with sugar, but these are simple and healthy. Plus, they’re piece of cake to make (my favorite kind of recipe!).
Since I wasn’t planning on using this recipe for MMAZ, I didn’t take original pictures. All of these pics are from Erica’s Sweet Tooth. I highly recommend you check out the recipe here. I still have all the ingredients on hand to make that Vanilla Spice Streusel Pudding, though, so expect some instagrams of that scrumptious, oat-tastic treat soon!
