Happy Monday! I know the start of a new work week can be tough, especially after a fun summer weekend, but I’m here with a fun recipe to brighten up your day. Give a grand ol’ hello to this Healthy White Chocolate Raspberry Ice Cream!
Oh yes, it’s ice cream, and it’s HEALTHY!! It’s also lactose, wheat and soy free and can easily be made vegan! Bazinga!
A little background on how this came to be.
- I love White Chocolate Raspberry Quest Bars. I probably have 2-3 a week. So delicious.
- It’s been crazy hot out.
- My White Chocolate Raspberry Quest Bars get melty and sticky when it’s hot out.
- Hitherto, I wanted a cool and refreshing way to eat my White Chocolate Raspberry Quest Bars.
And so I set to experimenting. Unlike my failed coconut butter experiment, this came out perfectly on the first try.
You don’t even need an ice cream maker for this recipe! If you have the ingredients and a good, high speed blender, you’re good to go.
Not only is this ice cream free from allergens, but it’s also high in protein! Protein powder helps to create a smooth, creamy consistency. My personal preference is Quest Vanilla Milkshake because it really comes out thick and ice-cream like, but you can sub any vanilla protein powder that you choose. Plug in a vegan one, and this recipe becomes instantly veganized!
Now that I have my White Chocolate Raspberry flavored ice cream, I can top it off with chunks of White Chocolate Raspberry Quest bar and I’m in cool, delicious heaven! High fiber. High protein. High amounts of YUM!
Before we get to the recipe, quick ANNOUNCEMENT: Be sure to follow me on Instagram for some exciting happenings. I’m not going to tell you exactly what because I like the element of intrigue, BUT I will tell you to check in around 7pm if you like winning awesome stuff… like… really awesome stuff…
Ok, onto the good stuff:

- 1 cup non-dairy milk frozen into ice cubes (I used cashew milk)
- 1/2 frozen banana
- 1 scoop Quest Vanilla Milkshake Protein Powder (or protein of choice to make vegan)
- 1/4-1/2 cup non-dairy milk (NOT FROZEN)
- small handful frozen raspberries
- optional topping: chopped up White Chocolate Raspberry Quest Bar, fresh raspberries
- Place milk ice cubes, banana and protein powder in a high speed blender.
- Add about 1/4 cup of milk and blend. You may need to scrape down the sides or use a tamper to push all the ingredients down into the blades. Add more milk as needed until all the ingredients are blended and the consistency is thick and creamy, like ice cream.
- Once consistency is reached, toss in frozen raspberries and pulse until just mixed in. (Alternatively, you can crush up the frozen raspberries and stir them in.)
- Scoop out into bowls, add any toppings and serve.
What’s your favorite flavor of ice cream?

I love them! If you have them near you, definitely pick up a few flavors to try. Just don’t have one right before a run – they have a lot of fiber!
I love homemade ice cream. We just made some last night and it tastes so much better than store bought- plus you can make it “clean” as you have for those of us who can’t tolerate dairy!

I couldn’t tell you the last time I had real ice cream. It’s not worth the pain for me, especially when I can make my own healthier version at home. I hope you make it and like it!
Oh wow this sounds so refreshing and good. As I sit here in 90 degree heat. Too many favorite ice cream flavors to even mention.

These bars are actually the only thing I like White Chocolate in, but for some reason I’m obsessed!
Yum! I went overboard on Quest bars about a year ago and haven’t had them lately but I did like the raspberry bar. Thanks for sharing

Yey! Win, win… WIN!
I’ve been looking at all these different ways to make ice cream and been hearing a lot about cashew milk so I definitely hope to try this. I bought and froze a bunch of bananas to try to make ice cream out of as well.

Yey! I always have a stash of frozen bananas at the ready.
OHhh, the white chocolate raspberry is one of my favorites too!! This looks awesome minus the banana (i’m the weirdo that hates bananas). But it’s a great idea!
Sue @ This Mama Runs for Cupcakes recently posted…Dynafit Outdoor Gear Review & Giveaway
The banana is really just to add a little creaminess. I bet you could get away without adding it.
Looks really yummy, sadly I am on a Keto diet so i can’t have dairy and bananas.
No dairy if you use a vegan protein powder and you can easily skip the banana – it’s just to add a little creaminess 🙂
This looks so good! I’ve seen so many yummy looking Quest recipes but I haven’t tried them. I tried Quest bars a few times but found them so chewy that it hurt my jaw? Maybe I needed to try microwaving them. Anyway, Didn’t know they also have a protein powder, good to know!
Patty @ Reach Your Peak recently posted…Chicago Marathon Training Week 10
I didn’t like the bars as they came packaged at first and always microwaved them. But now I love them all ways!
This sounds so insanely good – love the texture from the addition of that quest bar – I did an oatmeal ice cream once – with a premier protein bar – so good!

My goodness! That dish looks too sinful to be healthy and yet, it is! I’m going to try my hand at this one. I haven’t made ice cream in …. DECADES! 🙂
Good luck! Let me know how it turns out.
