A few weeks ago, the amazing team from RunnerBox sent me a box to test out. What is RunnerBox you ask?
RunnerBox is a subscription based box for runners, triathletes and other active people. It is a mini shoebox filled with running products, mailed to your front door. It has everything from energy products, gels, chews, protein shakes/supplements, nutrition bars, skincare, and other accessories! Some products will be brand new (but personally tested) on the market, and some will be tried and true favorites. With so many products coming out on the market, leave the trials and testing to us, we’ll search out the best and send them to you!
I’ve tried a few subscription boxes (like BuluBox), but I was especially excited about this one as it’s filled with products made with the runner in mind. I’m going to be testing out a ton of new running products as I train for my very first marathon (my training starts in about 2 weeks!), and this box seems like a great way to figure out what products will be right for me.
I was stoked when it arrived. Upon opening, I was greeted with a nice running quote and a little personalized note. Cute, huh?
The best part, though was the amount of goodies they fit into this box! I was amazed. But the REAL best part? One of you will get a free RunnerBox and will get to try all these products, too! Details of the giveaway are below.
Look at all those products!! I’m still working my way through some of them, but here are a few I’ve tried so far:
- Eko Trek Whole Food Bar – This bar is packed with 6 servings of fresh fruits and vegetables. They are all natural and vegan! I tried the dark chocolate raspberry flavor, and it was delicious!
- PocketFuel – This little packet of almond butter was made doubly delicious with chia seeds, honey, and goji mixed in. I spread it over an apple and topped it with some granola for an afternoon snack. Instant healthy energy boost!
- Skratch Exercise Hydration Mix – I mixed this into my water and enjoyed it during a tough and sweaty p90x plyometrics workout. It gave my water a nice lemon-lime flavor (reminded me of Gatorade) and helped keep my energy levels up way more than water alone.
- Bioplasma Sport – This is meant as a recovery supplement after a tough workout. You can pour it right on your tongue and let it dissolve, but I chose to mix it into some water. I might have used too much water since I didn’t get much of the lemony flavor, but my muscles weren’t sore the next day!
I also tried the Peeled Snacks Apple Clusters and Eat Green Tea leaves. The apple clusters were pretty tasty, but I don’t think I’d go out of my way to buy them. I added the Eat Green Tea leaves to my morning smoothie. It gave it a nice flavor, but the caffeine from the green tea plus my morning coffee was too much for me (I had the caffeine shakes!). There were a few products that contained dairy that I gave to my boyfriend try. So far, he’s only tried the Sport Beans Protein Recovery Crisps and gave them good reviews.
The box was also packed with coupons for other products, like ProCompression Socks, and if you like a product in the box, almost every company offers a discount to RunnerBox members to purchase more!
Now for the fun stuff! RunnerBox has kindly offered to give one of you lucky readers will a free RunnerBox! Just click on “a Rafflecopter giveaway” below or in the side bar and follow the steps to enter for your chance to win. The more steps you complete, the more entries you get! I’ll select a winner at random over the weekend. Good luck, my fit and focused runners!
