Super Bowl Weekend is upon us! That means it’s time for my and my boyfriend’s second annual Super Bowl Party. Woohoo!
I love hosting parties.
- It gives me and opportunity to try new recipes spend some serious time with my kitchen.
- I don’t have to trek out in the cold! Yay for the comfort of your own home!
Last year was pretty successful, if I do say so. I made a chili, a dip, pigs in a blanket, and 2 desserts, and pretty much every guest brought something along with them. We ended up with pulled pork, pulled chicken, meatballs, chili, guac, chips, pigs in blankets, the whole shebang!
Knowing how much food we’ll end up with, I’m cutting a lot of the apps this year and sticking to one dip, one main dish, and one sweet treat.
I’ve had my eye on this vegan Sweet Potato Seven Layer Dip from Namely Marley for quite some time. I’m pretty excited to give it a go.
I’ll also be making a chili. I haven’t decided if I should go with this bean-free chili or go for the bean-filled kind. What do you think? To bean or not to bean?
Last year, I made Chocolate Covered Katie’s Healthy Cookie Dough Dip. It was a big hit, so I’m whipping it up again. Thanks, Katie!
