The title of this post is what Under Armour is asking woman. They are hosting the What’s Beautiful Campaign from now until June 21st in order to inspire and motivate women all around the world to push past their comfort zones and achieve what they once thought was impossible. They’re calling it a “competition to redefine the female athlete.”
They have an entire website and community dedicated to helping women set goals, push/inspire/encourage each other to achieve them, and all along the way, define “What’s Beautiful” on our own terms.
- Get stronger. I’ve been working toward this goal all year, but now I really want to kick it into gear. My mission is to build up upper body strength and get more definition.
- Eat more protein! This is something I struggle with as a vegetarian, so I want to challenge myself to find more ways to work protein into my diet.
- Start running further! My typical run is about 4 miles, but with my first Tough Mudder coming up in October and marathon in January, I want to start adding on the miles to prepare.
I’m already on my way! These are some of the moves I did yesterday for an Arms & Abs workout. Taking pictures made me realize I need to work on my form a bit, so I’m already learning!
