It’s Thursday! Which means: it’s almost FRIDAY! YAHOO!
To celebrate this almost holiday weekend, I come bearing lots of good news. First, WINNERS!
The winner of the Spartan Race Giveaway is:
And the winners (yes plural!) of the Quest Bar Giveaway are:
Congrats, to all! I sent each of you an email. Winners have 48 hours to respond before another winner is chosen.
Those giveaways may be over, but now it’s time for another one! Have you all ever heard of Zim’s? I hadn’t either before some fine folks from the brand contacted me and asked if I’d like to review some of their products. In particular, they asked if I’d like to try their Advanced Crack Creme with Hydrocortisone and their Max Freeze Continuous Spray.
After the brutal winter we had (and are still having – snow yesterday? for real, Mama Nature?!), I was excited to try the Crack Creme. This cream includes organic Aloe and Arnica and adds hydrocortisone to speed recovery for dry, cracked skin and temporarily relieves itching caused by things like dry skin, poison ivy, insect bites, and any other minor skin irritants.
I was expecting the creme to be really slimy and medicinal smelling, but it was actually quite the opposite. The texture of the creme was nice and thick. It went on and immediately cooled my skin. And the smell – I LOVE IT! It smells like ginger cookies. Sometimes I use it just for the smell. Seriously. My boyfriend and I have started calling it The Crack. Whenever I see him itching, I say, “Need some crack?”, “Looks like you could use some crack.”, “I can get you some crack for that.”
Zim’s Max Freeze is an easy, one touch spray that may effectively help relieve pain from:
- Sore Muscles & Muscle Sprains
- Back, Shoulder, Neck Pain
- Painful Ankle, Knee, Hip & Elbow Joints
- Muscular Strains
I was planning on using this after all my long runs to help with the knee pain I sometimes get. I was derailed from a few long runs, but I was finally able to try it a few days ago. It was easy to apply. I pretty much just sprayed the heck out of my legs. After a few moments I got this nice, cool, tingling sensation all over my legs. It felt nice. Did it help with my sore muscles? Maybe. They were still a little sore later in the day, but there’s not telling how sore they would of been had I not used the Max Freeze. Overall takeaway? I give it a 7 out of 10.
Are you looking for some relief from the havoc winter wreaked on your skin or looking for something to cool off your muscles and joints after a tough workout? Lucky for you, Zim’s has generously offered to give a Fitful Focus reader both products to try! One winner will receive a tube of Advanced Crack Creme (I apologize in advance for being and enabler) and Max Freeze Continuous Spray. Enter below! Best of luck!
NOTE: Entrants must live within the Continental U.S. and be 18 or older.
NOTE: Zim’s provided me with their products free of charge in exchange for a review. That said, all opinions expressed in this blog are my own and I would never support a product I do not believe in.

I am wanting to try the crack cream for my heels
I subscribed! 🙂
Haha can’t stop laughing at “crack cream”. I want to try it for the name itself. I get pretty dry skin in the winter

Hey there! I follow you with emails loriwilhide@htva.net and I would like to try both products, but I’ll chose one: the Max-Freeze cause I think I need that. My joints are killing me, however, my daughter has an itchy rash right now…. Oh, so hard to choose!
I hope the crack creme would help my chronically dry skin!
